| The Spy Chapter 3 – Part II Simone was worried for many days. She new men were being called to the war – many of her colleagues had already been called. Many men she knew had been called. Many of her friends. When she discovery another person who had received the letter of convocation, he remembered Cesar. Where would he be? Would he also have been called to the war? She did not talked with her ex-boyfriend since they had quitted and, now, thinking in everything that had happened, she was felling bad: they had quitted because she did not wanted to marry him in that moment, even with her mother-in-law insisting that the marriage would be the safest way to avoid a men to be send to the war. Would she condemned him to death when she quitted him? She was afraid about looking for him and discovering that she had. So the telephone called. It was him. Again. A few days ago, she would refuse that calling. But, this time, she decided to answer: “I love you... do you marry me?” she said. “Simone?” “I was confuse, I was lost... but I want you back to me, I want to marry you as soon as possible...
