The Spy Chapter 1 – Part VII

“He’s a wonderful boy, daughter. You need to see him…”

“I don’t…” Agatha thought while her mother – again – tried to convince her to find someone. Her mother had too much difficult to understand that she does not want to get married and she was fine now. And Agatha had too much difficult to understand why her mother could not understand that simple point. But she smiled and answered: “Another moment, mom…”

“He’s foreign, but I think he’s a mysterious man. His name is Alex. He looks so nice. You should give him a chance. Have a date with him...”

“Mom, have you ever thought that your guests don’t want you scheduling dates with me?”

“I can’t see why not. If everything goes right, they will stay here for free. If not… they don’t lose anything.”

“Mom, would you accept here someone that broke my heart?”

“It depends… why did he break your heart?”

Agatha shook her head. She would lose that discussion. At that same time, her mother pointed to the door:

“Look there, daughter. He’s coming. It’s breakfast time. He’s so educated, you need to see. Go there...”

Agatha looked that man that her mother talked about. He was not that beautiful, as her mother had said. But he really looked nice.

“Good morning, lady. I would like some coffee, please.”

“Of course, sir.”

She looked her mother, that was giving her the coffee:

“I didn’t tell you he was beautiful?”

“Mother!”

“You will die maiden.”

“You have no idea who he is, mom! He can be a terrorist, a maniac…”

Her mother shocked her head: “Little fool…” and signed her to go ahead. She would think the whole day what she could do to schedule a date between her daughter and that nice foreign.
