The Spy Chapter 3 – Part IV Simone took the telephone. She took a deep breath. She dialed. And she hang down before any answer. In fact she was not ready to that. She should, but... she was not. She did not even want to be ready. She could not turn back, anyway. She could not do it. She... she knew Cesar deserved that. But... Why was she thinking about Cesar? In that moment, she her problems were not related with him. Why she was accusing him for her doubts and her desire of not doing what she had to do... She took another deep breath and dialed again. She listened the signals indicating the other telephone was hanging. One time, two, three… four… five… six… seven… Answer machine. “Luiza, here... here is Simone. I’m calling you because I’ll get married and… well, I’d like you tried to come to my wedding. You know, you’re my only sister and the last person in my family. If… if you receive this note, tell me. My telephone number is the same one you have. I love you...” Before finishing her talk, she noticed her call had been finished. She had no idea what part of her talk had been recorded. She would not call back to discovery. The main part of what she wanted to say was probably there. And, thinking in it, Simone tried to concentrate in her job, in what she had to do… in the things that would put her mind distant of those things she did not want to do. (18042013) | ||||||
