The Spy Chapter 4 – Part VII Her first reaction was to cry. Crying silently, crying explosively, crying crazily and normally. With that letter open in her hands, Simone cried and looked what was written – as that could, eventually, change. As, eventually, the text could be another one and Cesar could be back to life. That would not be possible, however, and she knew it. And that was why she was crying, and crying and crying. So the telephone rang. She answered, hoping it would be someone to talk and share what she was feeling that moment – even though she had so few friends those days. “Your bitch! Your cow! You killed my sun, your bastard. I hate you. I hate you for having sent my sun to death. Your bastard, cow, bitch.... you will see, I’ll kill you, your bastard...” It was not a friend. It was the mother who had just discovered she had lost her sun. (06012014 – published in 20012014) | ||||||
